14 June is celebrated as "World Blood Donor Day" to raise global awareness of the need for safe blood and blood products for transfusion and of the critical contribution voluntary, unpaid blood donors make to national health systems. The newly established Regional Blood Center (RBC) Islamabad, Ministry of Health, Pakistan in collaboration with Volunteers of Blood Donor Society CASHT conducted an awareness walk at F-9 Park, Islamabad.
